I really appreciate the information given in this book. For the person newly introduced to this way of life it is very helpful. It gives the background of a feast or festival. Tells of the traditions of the authors and gives some ideas as to what we can do to commemorate each day. Thanks for making a fish out of water feel a little more at home.

Excellent Guide to Jewish Celebrations,
This review is from: Walk With Y'Shua Through the Jewish Year (Paperback)
This is an excellent guide for showing the big picture and the foreshadowing of the Savior through OT events. Well worth the investment. Helpful for those who would like to celebrate the Jewish traditions while focusing on Y'Shua and aren't certain how to do so.

If you would like to know more about the various Jewish holidays, along with the spiritual significance of each one, this is a very good book. It has succinct chapters with good ideas for understanding and celebrating within the context of belief in Jesus. It has helped me appreciate the depth of these holidays and receive beautiful truths through them.

I got this book to help my children understand more about the Bible, the times we live in, and the future to come. The more I learn about the feasts, the more I see their multidimensional meaning for Christians today. This book was just what I was looking for. I love the concept of having the teaching center around the natural flow of the holidays throughout the year. I liked the book so much, I wanted to share it with others. I gave away my copy as a gift, and now I need another for myself. I would highly recommend this book.

Neither Judaism nor Christianity are the faith of the Elohim of Avram, Yitzahk, Ya'akob,

I see a lot of protests against this book from Rabbinicals. You are absolutely right... Yahshua (although from the tribe of Yahudah) was not a promoter of what is Pharisaical (Rabbinical) "Orthodox" Judaism today. He came to restore the Torah and the faith of Avram, Yitzahk, and Ya'akob... which had been perverted by the (so called) Rabbis. Judaism today is Talmudism... it is not rooted in Torah.Likewise, yahshua did not come to start a "Christianity". There is no such thing as "Judaism" nor "Christianity" in the TaNaKh or on the Ketuvim Netzarim. I don't agree with the (Torahless) "Jews for Jesus" organization that serves only to mislead. Yahshua is Mashiyach Ben Yoseph - The Suffering Servant of Yesha'Yahu, and the fullness of the Spring Moedim (Feasts). He will return very soon to take His role as Mashiyach Ben Dawid, the Conquering King... and the fulfillment of the Fall Moedim.
I speak to Christians and Rabbinical Jews when I say that you can cling to your man-made religions and your traditions - trusting is the writings of lost men (on both sides) or you can turn to the Elohim of the Torah... and you will see His Mashiyach in truth. [...]

This is not a Jewish book. It is a Christian book and is meant to be misleading. It should not be in the Jewish section as this book has nothing to do with Judaism.

Trickery,
This review is from: Walk With Y'Shua Through the Jewish Year (Paperback)
This book is by The folks of "Jews for Jesus", (a cult). If you want a book on Christianity go to that section, it's quite extensive. If you want a book on Judaisim for your kid, don't buy this book. If Amazon is wise it will take this missionary propaganda off of the Jewish book section - as it does not belong there.

nothing "Jewish" about this book...,

If I could just not give this book a star, I would. You don't see items on here like "how to be a satanist through the eyes of a Christian"... it just doesn't make sense. I reiterate... this is a propagandist book from a cult who tries to convert Jews. Do not pick up this book and think you are gaining insight into the "Jewish" world. Just like "Jews for Jesus" is deceiving, so is this book. :o(
