I've owned (a well known, brand name) orthotics for years. You know what, Walk Fit orthotics are just as good and a fraction of their price. I can now afford to have multiple pairs of orthotics instead of having one pair and changing them from shoe to shoe. One of the reviewers stated how uncomfortable they are. I'm going to guess that he has flat feet just like I do. When I initially started wearing orthotics 5 years ago, it felt like I was walking on a golf ball cut in half and stuck in my shoe. It took me a month or more to get use to them. If you have severely flat feet, don't expect them to feel comfortable right away. The instructions tell you to gradually build up to wearing them for a full day over time. Now, I wear them from sunrise to sundown. Although self diagnosed, I believe I was suffering from Morton's Neuroma. The orthotics immediately took away the nerve pain and as a added benefit, helped my knee pain too. All I know is that they work and the price is 7 times less than another store name brand.

I purchased these at a retail store as a last ditch effort to seek relief from horrible heel pain I was having, later diagnosed as plantar fascitis. After the initial break in period, these supportive orthotics are my only source of relief from the pain that may take up to 1 year to resolve.

These orthotics provide optimal arch support, not the cushy comfort of the traditional shoe inserts on the market. They are for those who truly need the support of an orthotic, as they may be tough to break in for those looking only for comfort. I recommend them to those suffering with foot pain or to active individuals looking to appropriately offload pressure.
