For anyone on the fence after reading some reviews PLEASE READ THIS: First of all I ordered the SILVER version so I knew I was getting the "X" frame as one reviewer noted. The BLACK framed desk at double the price is the one that the reviewer gave 1 star for not being "Y" framed... Anyway this desk is AWESOME I am 6'1" and I had no problem with the "height" of this desk, I suppose if you had a chair that was made for a dining room table or something it may not fit but I have a "computer chair" that is adjustable. When I put the chair on its lowest level I have like over 6" of clearance between the bottom of the keyboard tray and my legs. The desk looks great, the glass is high quality and tempered, to give you an idea while putting it together one of the "X" legs fell from a standing position straight onto the glass, it made a large smack when it hit but the glass didn't even have a scratch... Nice.

I am an IT professional and I am using this desk to work on multiple computers at once, I have two LCD monitors on it as well as a laptop and it feels REALLY STURDY.

For $77 (and no tax) delivered to your door you really can't beat the price, throw in moderate quality coupled with a modern design and this is THE BEST COMPUTER DESK FOR YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE! I looked at Wal-mart, Target, Bestbuy, Staples, and Shopko and this beat all of them hands down. BUY THIS DESK YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I purchase the silver version of this glass desk and it come with perfect conditions and tools for assembling. It only takes me 20 minutes to put the whole thing up. All the screws and parts fit perfectly and they also provide extras if you lose some which is great. I do not have much expectation from the reviews but to my surprise, this tempered glass desk is actually quite beautiful, airy, sleek and modern witn this inexpensive price. It is very easy to move around and not chunky. It is also quite sturdy and do not wobble. The glass slide out is quite nice for keyboard or storage. As with any glass desk, you do not want to clutter and put too many heavy stuff on top of it and need to exercise a little more care. This is common sense.

I have a small study and instead of putting it against the wall corner, it fits perfectly next to the window in the middle of the room and facing the door. I don't like having my desk facing the wall and don't know who is coming behind me. The L shape provide plenty of desk space for my laptop and writing area. The clear tempered glass desk does not make my study feel small or take up too much space even when it is placed in the middle of the room. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this product for anyone with a small study.

I purchased two desks for my husband and myself. Both arrived with defect: holes were missing from one desk, and the thread in the left keyboard bracket was missing from the other one. The former defect was minor: my husband drilled holes. The latter was more serious because it was impossible to secure the keyboard tray - we reported the problem for this one to Amazon.

Amazon sent us a replacement desk with a prepaid USP return shipping label immediately, which was great. However, the shipping does not include a pickup service, so we needed to take the 67 lb. desk to a USP store.

Otherwise, we love the desks. They look nice for the price and compact enough to fit our small office. Plus, the main pieces are switchable; I'm using my desk with keyboard tray on the left side. My husband switched the sides, and his keyboard tray is on the right side of the desk.

Everything was in the box and outlined in the instructions....BONUS!

If you want to put together the keyboard tray you will get very frustrated if you have little experience with how things work! The instructions for this part of the process are overly simplified. After we stood on our heads for a while we figured this out:

1)Look over the picture very carefully to see that you must separate the rolling mechanism into 2 sections. You have to press the small plastic lever on the inside of the bar and pull apart. I couldn't figure out the pulling...my husband knew that action.

2)When you attach it to the frame for the keyboard pullout keep in mind that the rubber stop will go towards the back and the outside track piece needs to be put on the armature with it's flat side lined up against the armature. (Blood rushing to your head yet?)

3)You may have to check step by step that the pieces are working correctly as you go. Correctly means that the tray will pull out towards you when finished. (I have a headache.)

4)We found once we put it together the inside levers were oriented the same in each side of the track. So on the right side the lever has to be pushed down to release and on the left side the lever was reversed and had to be pushed up to release once it was installed. (Oh my, did I say migraine?)

5)Once we got all that figured out it installed and works great. Thank God, my husband is mechanical.

We had trouble with the longer bolts getting them to start into the holes of the long bars. We found it was best to start a bolt into each end of the bar and then remove before lining all the pieces up and attaching together.

LOOK OVER THE PICTURES CAREFULLY. Make sure you know where holes are oriented before you put things together. We mistakenly attached the corner piece wrong and didn't discover until the end when we went to put the glass top on.

Love the unit. The size is exactly the proportions we needed in the room. Very sturdy once completed and is very attractive. I did not receive extra legs or hardware as one person had mentioned in their review. Because of the understated directions on the pullout tray I will have to rate a 4.

I always wanted a glass desk, so I looked around and this is the cheapest 3-piece set i can find, that has free delivery.

First off the parts are all the great shape, except for one, but amazon gave me a partial refund for me to get the right parts at my local hardware store which makes it up.

On to the product,

Reason why I took away 2 stars:

1. The keyboard slide out bar has sharp edges
2. The glass top does not fit perfectly into the frame, so there are little gaps between the glass and the frame. Don't know if that is true to all glass top tables.
3. Not easy to move around once built.

Overall the construction is pretty easy i did it by myself in under one hour with no power tools, but I highly recommend doing this with 2 people, makes the job much easier. You get what you paid for, to me this desk is enough, I even have a 32inch LCD on top and the glass is holding up pretty well. Only thing I would change is I wish it was a little bigger.

When my desk arrived to my home. I noticed that I was missing all of the hardware which I got sent out to me fairly quickly. Once I started putting the desk together, I noticed that I was missing the support frame for the tray. I requested this item and they sent me the regular frame tray (which now I have two of). I am waiting to see if they will send out the correct part that I am missing. They asked me if I would send them a picture of the part that they sent me and I was unable to do so at the present time. The desk itself (minus that tray) works quite well. Very sturdy and I am enjoying it...unfortunately I will never buy from this manufactorer again.

Great desk for the money! Took longer than expected to assemble, mostly because the screws were not a perfect fit at times--some fiddling was required. But overall, nice design and excellent price.

Assembly can be done by one person in less than 30 minutes and you will need gunk remover (lighter fluid) to get the inevitable and not really needed sticker glue off, they love to use that stuff on glass for some reason. Once together, it's stable, compact and somewhat stylish. Assemble with screws 90% tight (except the keyboard drawer track screws, tighten those completely), then tighten all once fully together. The allen wrench is supplied, you'll need your own phillips. Worth the money.

The workmanship on this is worse than sloppy. The holes don't fit the screws properly and looked like they were punched in with too much force, which left the area around the holes caved in. Some of the holes were too small and some left the screws loose. The keyboard tray couldn't hold its own weight and fell down within a minute, ripping itself out of the sliding holder.

This is a sturdy design. Assembly is easy (one-person job). The glass is a bit thin, but it appears quite sturdy. Its actually possible to make two separate desks out of this one (i.e. not using the corner piece).
