This dining set had numerous defects in the manufacture and finish of the product. There were scratches and indentations on the finish of the set. The staining of the chairs was inconsistent, viz., there were dark areas of the espresso stain and light areas of the espresso stain. When I requested touch-up stain, to correct the discrepancies of the staining process, I received a magic marker Sharpie that did not match the espresso stain color applied to the dining set. I had to have one of the chairs replaced because the imbedded hardware needed to attach the various parts of the chair together were not inserted in the various pieces of the chair. I had a defective apron table piece, i.e., the piece had not been properly sanded prior to the staining process and the finish was "extremely rough". I was sent the wrong replacement apron piece and, to date, June 4, 2010, I am still waiting for the correct replacement part. Inasmuch that, I originally ordered this dining set on May 11, 2010, with all the problems with this product I am still waiting for the correct replacement part to put this product together.
