The console also benefits from a concealed storage compartment beneath the open shelf. Great for keeping dust at bay, the lower compartment’s two cabinet doors open using their round silver knobs to reveal additional storage for AV components, DVDs, or video games. Pre-installed holes in the back of the console permit neat organization and discrete passage of electrical wires. We bought this for our bedroom for a 46" LCD TV.



Pros:

Depth is just right. We wanted a stand that did not stick out too far from the wall because it is in front of a high traffic area. But it is just the right depth and width that our TV can fully swivel as far as the TV allows.

Looks MUCH better than the picture. It is darker in color. No defects. Well packed.

Very sturdy. Has a solid feel.

Not too hard to assemble, but have extra glue on hand. I made one mistake during assembly, but mostly instructions were clear and everything was labeled. Doors have solid feel and open/close smoothly.


Cons:

Will not be able to add Home Theather later. My wife selected it in that she wanted a stand with no glass. I initially balked because there is not much room if we wanted to add home theater components/speakers later. So, as long as you do not plan to add more than 2 components and/or speakers, it is fine.

So, considering I did not want to buy it ititially, getting 5 stars from me is a good compliment, I'd give it 4.5 if I could.

Was very pleased with the actual quality and size of this TV console. Great value for the price and holds our 46 inch LCD television easily. Does not however have to much storage but we are not ones for clutter so it works great for us. My husband assembled in 15 minutes with ease and we are extremely happy with the quality for the price.

For the price the stand is pretty nice. It is very sturdy. However, the right door sags and rubs the bottom shelf when you open and close it. I contacted Walker Edison customer service who seemed like they would be very helpful. After providing them with the required info to get replacement parts, they have stopped responding to my emails (no phone # provided).
