Excellant,
By A Customer
This review is from: Walker's Bats of the World (Paperback)
This book contains one of the most extensive catalogs of the bats of the world that I have ever read. Not for pleasure reading, but great for research.

Excellent Resource for Scientist,

This review is from: Walker's Bats of the World (Paperback)
This book is an excellent and comprehensive resource for a professional or student that wants scientific details on bats of the world. The print is small and the writing is biological, so it is not a pleasure reading book for most people. It is well done for a resource book.

A rather technical book, but loaded with detailed information. Just what I was looking for with my start-out interest in bats.

This is an excellent resource if you want to learn a about bat biodiversity. I recently started studying bats and so whenever I hear an unfamiliar name, I check (and usually find it in) this book. Some of the phylogeny stuff is out-of-date, but that's going to be the case for any book that's more than a few years old.
