Good concept, and performed well electronically. Headband spring simply snapped after being used three times for a total of two hours. The headband was not abused or overextended. I am very old and treat hardware well: most of my equipment gets replaced because it becomes obsolete before it can fail. This is a really sad deal, because one of the simplest parts of a good device was faulty.

They sound quality is poor. A "white noise" overpowers the amplified sounds. If these were range only they might work, but they are "game ears" implying a hunting advantage that isn't there. The snap and crack sounds are amplified, but mid and low frequencies are missing.

Need to reiterate the other review's complaints about the headband design. It stinks. Snapped mine in two the second time I tried to wear them. Called customer support this morning and they are sending me a new headband no questions asked. Good for them.

My hope is the design deficiencies are addressed and the new headband is sturdier.

I purchased this product about a month ago. Yesterday I finally had a chance to get down to the gun range and try out my new ear protection for the first time. When I went to remove the earmuffs from my head, I pulled on the earmuff parts just a little to clear my ears and remove the hearing protection. The headband then made a loud *snap* and broke right in half. This unit is completely useless now becasue the muffs have no pressure to hold them to my ears. I tried contacting the company "walkers" about getting these repaired or replaced. After a week of waiting, I dont think they will stand behind thier product. Seems to me that they would rather "walk" away from customer service, and sell this junk to people that should maybe do business elsewhere.

I thought the ear protection was adequate, until it snapped in half in my hands - therefore, I give the product 2 stars. Amazon shipped this quicker than I had anticipated because they said it would be delivered on a certain day, but it arrived a couple of days sooner.. Go Amazon!

Bought this for my Dad for an early father's day gift. I went ahead and gave it to him because we went skeet shooting last weekend. He was amazed at how well they worked for him. He normally wears hearing aids, but did not need them at all while wearing these. I heard about these from some friends at work. They all have them as well and think they are great!!! Highly recommend!!!!

These muffs are HALF the price on the manufacturer's site. I did NOT have a problem with the head piece breaking and was assured of this when I called Walkers. What I am haveing right out of the box is constant hissing when the muffs are turned on, no matter the volume or AFT setting.

I now have to return them to Walkers and pay for the shipping and they will give me a new pair. First return I wanted to do on Amazon and you have only 30 days to do so. Blessings in Jesus' Name!
