Everything Craig David does turns to magic! He is vindicated again by the success of his third single title release, WALKING AWAY. I got my copy at an unbeatable price and have not been able to stop listening to it since--it's that catchy and infectious. Slow and groovy, this tune is great for slow dancing to or just mood music for you to chill out and relax.

In this release, there are two remixes of WALKING AWAY, which should please Craig's fans. His smooth and soulful delivery is sure to take you away from your problems: "I'm walking away, from the troubles in my life, I'm walking away, oh to find a better day... " Oh, to walk away from all that fame and fortune for a minute...Lucky guy.

Also included in this CD is track number three 7 DAYS, which is an acoustic version of his hit single performed in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Another noteworthy number is Craig's take on Human League's hit HUMAN (penned by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis), about a guy who makes mistakes. His rendition gives it a totally different feel.

This soul popster is going places! WALKING AWAY might not be as tight as previous releases FILL ME IN or 7 DAYS, but it is still a good sight better than many offerings out there. Recommended is also Craig David's debut CD album BORN TO DO IT, which is a must-have for all his fans.

I am a huge Craig David fan and I bought this single because I heard the Ignorants Remix on the radio and was completely astonished. I already loved the original song, but the remix is way better. If Craig put out more songs like #4 he would have a broader fan base. I love him anyway, reguardless of what he does. Craig is by far one of the best male singers in any genre, and he writes most of his songs. Did I mention how hot he is! If you love Craig as much as me, this single is definitely worth adding to your Craig David collection.

Not to mention I in't like this song at first but as I listene to it I slowly starte falling in love with this song. Craig David has that goo mellow voice that makes this song sound like a cry out to get away and break free kin of song. I Love IT!!!! Anyways it's got a nice groove and is indeed one single you won't wanna miss my dear people. Way To Go Craig!!!

I have to say, this song really BLEW ME AWAY. It has such a BEAUTIFUL Melody. It's actually more towards a Pop Ballad than an R&B Track. I fell in Love with it the instant I heard it on the radio last summer, and still very much listen to it. It's GREAT.

I am not a huge fan of Craig David, not really a fan at all. There are some R&B songs that I've enjoyed very much in the past, like some songs by Boys 2 Men, or Keith Sweat ("Twisted", "Nobody"), but there are very few of those, and usually R&B albums don't do it for me. Craig David is not an exception.

BUT Craig David really did some MAGIC on this song. I wish there were more songs like this on his album.

Anyway, Great song very worth hearing if you haven't already.

This single is worth the buy for any Craig David fan. Although it is not as good as the 7 Days or Fill Me In singles, its still a great addition to your CD collection. The single contains new remixes that stray away from Craig David's now-familiar style. The ignorants remix is very nice and is the type of remix that one would enjoy from artist Craig David. Another remix, the Step-Child, was a huge disapointment. The background music was alright, but the song contains no R'n'B, but is entirely rap, and it's not the type of rap that you look forward to listen to. Its more of a childish style. The video for walking away thats available on the CD is nice, and entertaining, but isnt as good as the 7 Days video. On the whole this is a good but not great single, but is still worth having.

I figured I give this 5 stars since everyone (but one person) who reviewed it gave it 4. It's not my favorite, it's not even in my top 5, but "Walking Away" is a nice lil' ditty with a positive message (no "pretty young girl I met" vibe on this one). That's pretty much it.

Even if you aren't a huge fan of this song, I wasn't at first...it'll grow on you as you listen to this well-packed single, a whole 5 songs! 1. Walking Away - The single title track is a mid-tempo song actually preformed by U2 at the brit awards, where CD was snubbed. A nice guitary song good for travelling. 2. Human - I'm addicted to this song...its a dreamy relatively slow song w/the typical craig david sound in behind about Craig saying hes sorry for making a mistake. NICE 3. 7 Days - Why this is on here I don't know, but it was Craig's 2nd single. An awesome r n b track about a relationship that moves v.fast....I love it! 4. Walking Away (Ft. Trell) - This remix is v.cool and cool to listen to...the rap bit is funky also. I like how they make the song all r and bish. 5. Walking Away (Treats Better Day Remix) - This remix is also v.good, I'm gonna see if I can find more by the person who did it.
