Unbelievable access to so many terrorists,
By Soft Power (New York, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Walking Away from Terrorism: Accounts of Disengagement from Radical and Extremist Movements (Political Violence) (Paperback)
One of the only books I have ever read where the writer spent considerable time interviewing terrorists all over the world and ascertaining what made them stop! This book provides an insider's view of how someone becomes a terrorist and how and why they stop. Excellent and well written, the detailed interviews will help a generation of researchers who cannot meet with terrorists themselves in addition to the insights and conclusions that the author draws. All around a wonderful book!
