This book is so punny, kids don't realize they're learning!,

This review is from: Walking the Bridge of Your Nose: Wordplay Poems Rhymes (Paperback)
I'm a preservice Language Arts teacher, and since starting my reading block have rediscovered children's books. This was one I *had* to buy. I love wordplay, so I worked it into a literary session with my student. I had planned on reading 4 selections, but she wanted to read the entire book -- so we did! I always use student enthusiasm when I can. There are poems that "teach" phonics, punctuation, spelling, etc. This is more than a grammar book masked as a fun book. It's a fun book in and of itself.
