Good for the purpose, i.e. for walking
This book tells you exactly what it says in the title. It is purely a walking guide, actually quite a good one. Includes maps and good descriptions of the routes and indicates in which seasons each route is available for walking. Unfortunately, this book is not a general tourist guide at all.

disappointed
I must say I am disappointed. I was looking for a book to start planning a trek in the Caucasus and stumbled upon this book. It is basically a bunch of daily walks that don't add up for a multi-day hiking experience. If you are looking for a book to add a day walk here and there this might be just what you were looking for.
