This review is from: Walking for Everybody: Intermediate Level (Audio CD)
I only have a couple of gripes with this pretty good CD.

The first is that it doesn't seem to me to be at an "intermediate level." There are 10 tracks. The first one is a little talk by Leslie. The second track starts you off at an extremely slow stroll. Each successive track speeds you up a bit, but I don't think you ever go over 3 mph on the fastest track. Leslie has little narrative comments about keeping your heart rate up. Maybe if you are extremely sedentary this cd would be a challenge. I'm no athlete, believe me! I'm I'm in my mid-50's and quite overweight, and this cd was way too easy for me.

My second gripe is that the cover says "walk 2 1/2 miles in 40 minutes." Well, the cd ended before I finished my usual 1.9 mile route. It did take 40 minutes. I guess it's possible that my stride was too short, but it seemed normal and comfortable to me while I was walking.

Other than that, I liked the cd. The music was peppy, and Leslie only inserted comments at the beginning of each track. I really liked the graduated pace; I just wish the top pace had been faster. I may try the advanced cd. Haven't decided yet.
