Gwen is a personal friend of mine, but that is not why I am writing this review. I am writing it because her book is very enlightening. She is a girl in her twenties who has overcome so many obstacles that I feel that so many of us struggle with every single day of our lives. I am a few years older than Gwen, but when I am with her and talk to her, I feel like she is my teacher. She is wise beyond her years and anyone who has ever struggled with anything in life would be inspired by her. This is not just a journal, but an expression of feelings, experiences, thoughts through not just words and stories, but also poetry. I have read a lot of books in my life, but none are quite as deeps as Gwen's. I promise you will be touched by her story and inspired by her words. Whether you are looking for just a good read or you want to sit down and talk to a good friend (Gwen) or you are struggling with a demon and need help, buy this book! You will learn so much from a young girl who has learned to turn adversity into good fortune. So many of us struggle through life each and every day. You will know you are not alone after reading this. You will feel like you have made a friend for life. Buy this book, you will be glad you did and buy some for your friends too. Everyone should know the thoughts, feelings and realizations that are found in these pages. Gwen is as real as they come, and so is every single word in her book. You will be a changed person after reading it. You will learn new things about yourself, you will feel better, you will make a new friend. Gwen is a multi-talented woman who not only writes stories and poetry, but also sings and plays guitar. She has the most amazing voice I have ever heard in my life, not to mention she is beautiful in every way possible! I guess I could go on all night writing about how much I admire her and am happy to be her friend. Buy the book and pass it on....
