Must Read Miner's Best Novel,
By Diana (SC, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Walking Fire: A Novel (SUNY Series, Margins of Literature) (Paperback)
"Sojourner" Magazine had this to say about Miner's novel: A Walking Fire is very likely Valerie Miner's best novel thus far. It is thoroughly believable, densely layered, and expertly told. Suspense builds as we yearn to find Cora's missing links. And Miner knows how much to reveal and at what point...If peace is not made between Cora and all of her family, at least Cora is able to make some peace with herself, which is maybe what this journey is all about." I couldn't say it better myself. |
