Walking with Justice: Uncommon Lessons from One of Life's Greatest Mentors Hardcover – January 11, 2012
''As a teacher, Judge Rosenn was patient, kind, and precise. As a jurist he was fair, compassionate and principal. As family, he was warm, caring and devoted. Decades after finishing my clerkship, I keep a picture of Judge on my desk. It reminds me of the way people are suppose to live.'' --Richard Gelfond, CEO, IMAX Corporation
''Many thanks to Mollie Marti for bringing the story of her mentor and friend, Judge Max Rosenn, to a larger audience. He set a high standard for what it is to be a just and compassionate human being. We can all learn from his sterling example.'' --Daniel H. Pink, NY Times bestselling author of DRIVE and A Whole New Mind

Although Mollie Marti, J.D., Ph.D., has impressive credentials, the lessons from Judge Rosenn provided the necessary guidance to live a life with meaning, and the good news is that all of us can forge our own destinies with these timeless ideas.
Perhaps, you too will feel the call and realize your potential. What if you were to accept the challenge and learn from Mollie and Judge Rosenn? How would that impact the people in your life?
Read this book. Read it again...and again...and take action. Give it to those you love, and see what a difference it makes. Your life may never be the same!
Its depth comes from the wisdom of a man who stands as one of the greatest legal minds in our American history. Its simplicity comes from this same great man who wrote lessons upon his student's heart with the ink of love.
Before reading this book, I saw reviews saying that walking the path in this book with Mollie and her mentor would forever change readers. Given that I'm familiar with Mollie's work, I didn't know if this would be true for me. It was. You cannot help but be changed by a story that leads so powerfully to its seemingly inevitable conclusion that love is and always will be the most powerful force in the world.
Over the course of the week since finishing it, the answer has come to me. Mollie illustrates through circumstances of Judge Rosenn, herself, colleagues, and Judges family that life isn't simply about winning or being perfect but becoming. If we are becoming we're always a winner whether the 'scoreboard' says it or not. As a Federal Justice, family man, friend, mentor, etc., Judge allowed those around him and himself to become. He was extra ordinary at allowing every moment to be about the process of becoming in the highest good of each individual and their communities.
I really like how the author used the words of the Judge's eulogy to begin each chapter. It flowed beautifully from there and I really do feel like I know the man. It must have been wonderful to have been able to have him for a mentor and life model.
I think the book will impact people many different ways. That's true of all books to an extent but I think there will be many people who will find hope that there are other people like Judge Rosenn and that they will have the kind of impact on the world that the Judge obviously did for so many both in his lifetime. Thank you to the author Mollie Marti for sharing Judge Max Rosenn's story.
available here online, have immediately purchased it. This is a book that's beautiful both in content and in layout -- and rich in character and timeless principles that I want my whole family to learn from and enjoy. It's like the spirit and character of Judge Rosenn have come alive through Dr. Mollie's words and are now able to touch those of us who didn't have the privilege of knowing him directly. His example of being fully present to people has already come to mind and impacted my interactions with people -- beginning with my family -- during the day. Thank you for writing this book!
Walking with Justice challenges each of us to step up and put whatever pieces of Judge's wisdom inspire us into action to live our best lives.
