In my book "Walking, Living, Learning" I actually reference 66 great non-fiction books BUT if I had to choose, of course I'd say the Bible ... it's the greatest personal & professional development guide ever written and a source of inspiration to millions including some great men and authors I admire like Zig ZIglar, Charlie "Tremendous" Jones, Ken Blanchard and Rabbi Daniel Lapin."

I have never read a book like this and have not read all of it yet but have read enough of it to know that it is one that I will read over and over again! The advice given is golden and have given me much to think about. Al, you have a way of looking at books and people and finding the hidden gems that help others. Thanks! Hope this won't be your last book! TCA!

Walking Living Learning is a book that describes a man's one-year journey of daily walks, listening to books on tape during those walks, and learning valuable life lessons during the listening.

Al Argo writes in a straight-forward, folksy style that relates the lessons he learned from the books to living life in a more controlled, powerful way. The sixty or so (mostly business) books that he listened to range from timeless classics to books I've never heard of before. Every book has many lessons to offer and Al has taken the time to condense all the book's life and business lessons into his single tome.

The book is written in a style that chronicles the days of the year and the lessons learned for each day's learning (and walking). I found myself imagining I was walking with Al during the year, the changing seasons, and his own changing mindset and personal growth though out. The 365 chapters cover each day of his year's living.

The best part of the book is the learning. Al generously shares what he's learning during his walking. It's the type of book that could be read yearly for the rest of one's life and the timeless life lessons would seem fresh and applicable with each new reading. (I purchased and read the Kindle version.)

The title of this book just jumped off the page at me because I am an avid walker, reader and lifelong learner. I could truly relate to Mr. Argo's "Walking, Living, Learning" project.

Research shows that walking is one of the best ways to exercise the body and keep the brain alert and healthy. Mr. Argo's goal of listening to audio books and walking 60 minutes a day was an excellent way to develop a habit that will serve him well for the rest of his life.

When I worked as an elementary school librarian, the skill of summarizing reading material was taught at all grade levels. I think the ability to summarize a report/book/article is not only a learned skill but also a special talent. Mr. Argo did a great job picking out the most important points in his books and sharing his thoughts and insights.

I may never have the opportunity to read the 66 books that the author read, but I now have a general understanding about the key concepts that are covered.

"Walking, Living, Learning!" is a no-frills book that provides "just the facts" about a nice selection of motivational and inspirational books. This was an inspiring and informative read that might inspire others to put on their walking shoes and attach headphones to their e-reader. Highly recommended!

I am reading this book as part of my own venture in mindfulness and self-improvement. There is so much good stuff to be had in here. The author summarizes his daily "reading" for the reader and gives us the very essence of what he gleaned. I'm finding so much useful material for a project I'm involved in teaching English as a second language.

I have known Al Argo for over 40 years. As his older brother, I enjoy seeing the passion that he has developed to want to help people know who they are, the purpose which they were created for and helping them strive to reach that purpose and destiny in life. The format of this book that he has written toward that purpose is very easy to follow, whether sitting down with it and reading it all at once or taking in very small bits at a time. Get the book, read it and enjoy --- we never grow to old to learn new things. Al, keep Walking, Living and Learning! Enjoy your journey. Love ya Bro!! :)

Al Argo certainly knows how to take the essence of some of the most important business and social books on the market, and present the main ideas in a concise and helpful way. I got great information from dozens of books, without having to read any of them...and some that I never knew existed I will read in depth. I read every word as the narrator of the audiobook. Of course I'd recommend the audio version!
