These study books improve & enhance all your Bible study,
By Shauna Russ "shaunaru" (Utah USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Walking in Power, Love, and Discipline: 1 And 2 Timothy and Titus (The New Inductive Study Series) (Paperback)
One of the things I like best about going through the Inductive Study series is that not only do I have a better understanding and appreciation for the specific books covered, but the exercises improve and enhance all of my Bible study. That's because you are being taught the Inductive Study Method of Observation (what does it say?), Interpretation (what does it mean?), and Application (How do I live?) and the more you use this method, the more natural it becomes to all of your study efforts. The theme of this study of Pastoral Epistles is "Walking in the Truth." In the daily exercises you are encouraged to allow Scripture to interpret Scripture and then you are guided by thoughtful questions to consider the things that you are reading in such a way as to deepen your understanding of the text. The daily lessons are brief enough to fit into most schedules, but if you need to modify the schedule - you're free to work it into your life as fits your needs best. I highly recommend any and all of the study guides from Kay Arthur/Precept Ministries. I'm very grateful for the help I've gained in understanding God's Word and especially in learning to apply it to my life.

The blurb from the website,
This review is from: Walking in Power, Love, and Discipline: 1 And 2 Timothy and Titus (The New Inductive Study Series) (Paperback)
I actually haven't used this book, but thought it might be helpful to post the blurb from the Precept Ministries website, since it offers a little more information. Here it is: "Mine the treasures of the Scriptures of 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus, and discover what God expects of believers in all areas of life including faith, deeds, morality, leadership, and attitude. Challenge yourself to walk in power, love, and discipline as outlined in these vital books of the New Testament." This series of books typically requires 30-60 minutes of study per lesson. Hope this additional info is helpful to someone.

This review is from: Walking in Power, Love, and Discipline: 1 And 2 Timothy and Titus (The International Inductive Study Series) (Paperback)
I totally enjoyed studying these small books through Kay Arthur's inductive method. I learned so much and was able to see things that I probably never would have noticed without this book.
