This was a little too peppy and ambiguous for me. The dvd was a bit too fake...I like Leslie's others much better.

First of all, the price is remarkable! The book alone is worth the price and then you get a 2 mile workout too! I found this workout to be Leslie's absolute best. The book is designed so that you read a few pages a day for 30 days. She inspires you to exercise through your faith in Christ since our bodies are God's temple and we should treat it that way. Each day has an inspirational message, un-faith-full thoughts we should identify and get rid of, scripture for thought, an activity to apply to your life and a journal page to record your progress. The DVD is easy to follow and has encouraging words throughout. It is very fun to do. The DVD has a section at the end where you get to meet the people who are exercising with Leslie. It was great and inspiring to hear their stories. I highly recommend this program!

I have bought each book that Leslie Sansone has written and this one is the best as it deals more with the emotional side of eating. It helps remind us that our bodies are temples of God and that we should take care of them. She also reminds us that we should not get down on ourselves when we slip and fall and God does not expect us to be perfect. The two mile DVD included inside the book is excellent as well.

I absolutely loved this book. Leslie opened my eyes to the connections between food, water, physical activity, and God. I had never before put those things in that perspective. I also loved the inspiration that Leslie gives. She makes you want to believe in yourself and know that you can overcome any challenge to be fit. I will be reading this book again, soon.

I absolutely LOVE leslie sansone. I can do her videos and lose weight and tone up. Her videos are not complicated at all they are easy moves with extraordinary results. So when I found this book and dvd set I was extremely excited. and so far I have not been disappointed. Being a Christian myself I understand the connection between the spiritual and the physical. And Leslie is a very informed instructor with a contagious love of God and exercise. If you are depressed, discouraged, or just wanting to lose some weight. This is the perfect program for you.

Since I've tried most of Leslie Sansone's walking workouts I was interested in reading her book. This turned out to be a very positive experience and her vibrant personality comes through in her writing. Each day in the 30-day program is inspirational and motivating. Leslie gives a pep talk for each day and also includes "Un-Faith-Full Thoughts: "I don't need anyone's help or love," and a more positive way of looking at life like: "We are all a part of God's plan and are deserving of love."

"Women in their seventies who do regular strength training have bones that are just as strong as they were when these women were in their thirties." ~ pg. 56

Throughout the book there are sections of helpful advice and a good helping of facts to convince you that walking is in your best interest. Leslie encourages you to drink more water, avoid Transfats (hydrogenated oils) and to start making better food choices.

For the most part this is a very encouraging book with lots of positive thinking. I found it to be a comforting read. As a bonus, this book comes with a Two-Mile DVD so you can walk along with Leslie for a month. Once you try her workout you may want to buy some of her other DVDs which are all very positive and fun.

I had purchased another faith based diet book. It was so hard to follow!! This book is easy to follow and the walking video is great for all levels of fitness. I have thoroughly enjoyed the daily journal. The jump start diet at the back of the book is easy to follow and uses foods that I already had in the cupboard. I would strongly recommend the book.

This book is the perfect companion to Leslie Sansone's fitness/walking dvds. Leslie's approach to health living and exercising is faith-based. After years of struggling with losing weight and exercising, I've realized it does take calling on a higher power than myself to stay focused and motivated. I started with one of Leslie's walking dvds and loved her encouraging and inspirational messages to keep going. In this book she gives easy and healthful tips for eating healthy and living life to the fullest. She also shares her background and what brought her to incorporating faith with her workouts. I've lost inches and almost 20 pounds so far and I know I couldn't have accomplished it without Leslie Sansone inspiring me every step of the way.

I actually was praying one day that God would help me to get motivated to excercise and take care of this body. That same night I went to a weekly meeting I attend, which happens to be in the library of a church. There was a box of free books on the floor and throughout the entire meeting, I could not keep from being drawn to look at the box. When the meeting ended I picked up Leslie's book and kind of grunted, forgetting my earlier prayer. I thought, "I need another book like I need a whole in my head." But, I picked it up and took it home. The next morning it was calling my name. I inserted the DVD that comes with the book, having no idea I was about to embark on a new workout experience. I must say, it was "Exactly what I needed." I was so excited that I found something I could do---rain or shine, in the comfort of my own home--that actually gives you a total body workout in about a half hour each day---that I ordered a copy for my sister in law. I have told many people about Leslie's workout and know that you will get tremendous benefits from this book that can last a lifetime.

This book and cd are one of the best Leslie Sansone has ever done. It is inspirational and motivational and I know that I will begin to lose the weight because of this book and cd. I have many of her exercise cds but this one I love the most. Plus the book if helpful and informative and makes it easy to lose the weight.
