Beth has been married 16 years to Ray Jones, a fulltime paramedic and founder of SEMSAR, a Christian medical/security missions organization. She is the mother of three beautiful daughters. Beth has taken two short-term missions trips to Israel and Haiti, and has a heart for Africa. She has a B.A. degree in Christian psychology, and is a 2006 graduate of CLASS speakers/writers training. She is available to speak at churches, retreats, classes, women's groups, and conferences across the country.

I loved this book. The author used so much Scripture; I could tell that she spent a lot of time researching for this book. I enjoyed hearing about answered prayer in her own life, and her "writing voice" is so gentle. It makes people want to go spend time with God. The example of her daughter wanting to show her a sunset was so poignant. I often miss those moments when I feel I'm too busy for my kids. Convicting, really. I was glad to have read the book.
