THINK FUTURE! I can't understand why Matts Altar holds on to the "traditional" rock sound with this new CD. When there are so many possibilities with technology to break some experimental ground. The band members have the talent and creativity to break more than barriers! Young Dumb and Miserable has an almost((Industrial))sound quality to it. It would be interesting, if they did allow this single to be remixed over with a complete industrial sound to it....

Matt's Altar has put together a superb, albeit short, collection of great tunes. Clearly these guys are blazing new trails. The sound can't really be likened to anyone else. I'm stuck, I can't pick a favorite track. Senseless? A lot like Suicide? I don't know. This is a great disk.

Matt's Altar kicking a** again!,

I have always been blown away by Matt's Altar. After seeing them live a few times, and listning to their first release (Realism...) I had to get my hands on this album! It is so "in your face" that I felt like I was at a live show! My favorite tracks include Tourniquet, Suicide, and Dogs II (a great follow up to "Dogs"... Could I even compare this to Zeppelin?) Buy this CD... and get your hands on "Realism..." to see what Matt's Altar is all about. This band never fails to be the best!

Finally, a band that is not afraid to play what everyone wants to hear! No more pussy pop rock, just good old, hard, in your face, rock. We have great guitar licks, thundering bass, earth-shattering drums, and a front man that brings back images of Van Halen, when they were good!

After seeing these guys live (love the stuff from Jesus Christ Superstar) a couple of times, I really enjoy their energy and John James's voice is AWESOME!! These guys are great and musically tight. They appeal to college students and professionals alike.
