Product Description

Product Description

Walkstool is a unique company making an even more unique and extremely useful product. The Walkstool Comfort is born of fine Swedish engineering and provides a portable posterior platform - in other words, a seat for all occasions. Whereas a folding chair or stool is nothing new, this Walkstool's clever design makes it stand out from the rest. The two primary issues Walkstool's designers focused on were compact size and load strength and the final product reflects their careful engineering and dedication. The primary benefit of the Walkstool is the prevention of back strain or fatigue while keeping a person elevated to a comfortable height. This is useful for sports, event, and press photographers who spend many hours on their feet, squatting or on their knees. It is also good for campers and other outdoor enthusiasts or simply anyone who needs a seat in a location where a comfortable chair may be hard to come by. The Walkstool Comfort line features lightweight and ultra-portable stools with two height positions depending on whether the telescoping legs are extended or not. Transportation of these sub-two lbs stools is a breeze, as it collapses into a compact form that can be easily carried in a camera bag, backpack, or tool bag to be taken just about anywhere. The Comfort line improves on the Basic line with a larger seat, different size seat mesh material, and larger rubber feet to prevent the stool legs from getting stuck in the mud

Light weight and easy to carry. Very stable on uneven ground. I weight 344 pounds and I was more than happy with the stool. I can only walk a short distance and I have to stop and rest, this stool provided me with the stop anywhere and anytime ability.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stool For Me!, August 16, 2010
By lazlong (Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Wa22 Comfort Telescopic Folding Stool - Xtra Large (Electronics)
I have been using this stool since May, 2010, working on drilling rigs in the Iraqi Desert. It's now the middle of August, and I haven't had a single problem with it. I weighed 230 when I got it (down to 200 now), and it supports my weight just fine.

In the past, I used the cheap, $5 tripod seats with steel legs. Those are too heavy, too short, and the fabric tears out of them after about a month's use. This one shows no signs of wear, and it's much lighter and more comfortable than those.

I don't know what others are doing to have problems with these. They really are well designed and manufactured. I will buy another, so I can leave one in my Pelican Case for overseas work, and another just to carry around in my truck when I'm working in the US.

I give it 5 stars because it's worth every one of them, and worth every penny.

I bought this for my boyfriend. He is a locksmith and weighs over 300 pounds. He struggles to find chairs/stools that will hold his gerth and can be easily carried from job to job. So far he loves his stool and uses it everyday. Having to rate it so soon is OK but no way to know how long it will last. He has only had it for a couple of weeks and so far it is great.
