A really great product. However the product details neglect to mention mounting hardware is not included.

The wall attachment is designed to mount on additional Ergotron hardware:

This thing works great. It adjusts up and down and folds up easily. I mounted it directly to the wall. Don't buy the mounting bracket.

This design is well thought-out. Gives great control of angles and positions. I got mine because I live in an RV and need to put my 15" LCD TV out of the way when I'm not watching it. I wanted to extend the TV out and aim it toward the kitchen so I can watch while I'm cooking. This arm allows me to do that. Very high quality and choices of mounting hardware to suit my situation where the walls needed the extra wide track mount to make it secure.

This is a good company that makes a huge variety of products like this.

Got this for a mac mini my son bought me. I'm a PC guy(was a PC guy). I made a very small desk to hold the computer. I usually end up with my feet up in another chair, the wireless mouse actually works on the arm rest of the office chair and the extra long cable lets me set the keyboard on my lap. With this wonderfull mount for my monitor I can pull it up to that sweet spot in my aging vision and have the most comfortable computing experice I've ever had.

I have a Samsung 22.6 monitor mounted to it and it is heaven. Going to get more of these mounts for my other monitor/desk configurations. I am spoiled.

Brillant design, coupled with top quality parts with a very attractive price tag. I'm still trying to figure out how they could do it. Anyway, I'm totally satisfied, it's doing more than I hoped for and it really looks like it's going to last.

For the price, this unit is sturdy, clean-looking and perfect. Adjusts in all directions to practical ranges easily. Buy it because I told you to.

I had been in the market for an articulating wall mount for my 26" Samsung T260HD display for quite some time before I came across the Ergotron LX wall mount. After reading many positive reviews on the LX I decided to give it a shot. Words cannot express how HAPPY I am with the way the install turned out. Within 30 minutes I had the mount lagged into the studs behind my computer desk and was in the process of tweaking the adjustment screws for optimal viewing.

A few things to keep in mind:

-This mount is rated for displays up to 20 pounds. I barely made it under the limit (probably by a pound at most) so I really had to tighten the adjustment screws hard to keep the mount from drooping. Everything is great after I have made the adjustments, just don't expect this thing to hold up your 19 pound monitor out of the box.

-Make sure when you drill the pilot hole for the lag screws that you are drilling through the center of your studs. This mount is fairly hefty and I imagine if you had the lag screws off center and had the mount loaded up with a decent size monitor there would be the possibility of splitting a stud.

Final Thoughts:
I could not be more pleased with the way things have turned out. I have gotten very nice complements on the mount so far and am looking forward to getting a more comfortable computer chair that reclines so I can really test this thing out in comfort!

I LOVE this arm. It blows everyones mind that comes into my place.

I used it to hook up an HDTV in my kitchen over my bar, so I could watch TV while sitting at the bar, or flip it around and move it up to watch it while cooking/doing dishes.

This thing is the best arm I've seen. Well worth the gwop.

The only reason for 4 stars is that even though the product box was marked correctly with 45-180-195 model number, the two I ordered were not that product. They were the desk mount with a laptop tray. I've used Ergotron arms before, and really like everything about them. Good construction, very sturdy and well made. I agree with others about the cable management - could be better. I have ended up using cable ties, which I think is better.

I'll update when my return/exchange for this correct model is complete.

I ordered it yesterday from Amazon with free standard shipping and it arrived today! It works great with absolutely no problems.

I attached it directly to a wall stud using the two provided lag bolts. I drilled two pilot holes with a 3/16" drill bit about 2 1/2" deep as shown in the instructions. I located the stud's center with an electronic stud finder. I was confused by the instructions for the mounting height dimension. I called Ergotron tech support in Minneapolis. The dimension is the height of the bottom of the wall bracket above the floor not your desk top. I am using a Samsung 2433BW monitor with the base and tilt mechanism removed.

WORD OF ADVICE: Do not try to adjust the 4mm allen wrench adjustment for the up/down arm tension with the panel attached and suspended. You will probably strip the allen screw head. Adjust it to it's midrange before attaching the panel. If you need to adjust the tension once it is assembled and in place remove the arms and bracket from the wall mount bracket. Ergotron's tech support was correct, the behavior is very different once the panel is attached and the arms placed on the wall mount.

I can see how some have had problems with broken screws or stripped allen heads.
