Excellent value
I used this wire to go under our deck to some outdoor speakers. Time will tell, but I feel pretty confident that the extra plastic shield around the wires will hold up to the elements.

Not copper, poor value
This is not copper wire, it's coated aluminum. I've contacted the seller twice about returns with no reply. I recommend you shop elsewhere. For less money you can get real copper wire from a fantastic company: monoprice.com

Pulled the wire in wall/attic for install. Wire has a nice, thick outer white casing, with standard black and red copper inside as shown in the picture. It easily spooled off of the roll that it came on and sounds just fine with my surround.

The standard speaker wire that's available from the big box hardware store or electronics supply store can't legally be used for in-wall installations (running the wire through wall cavities rather than along the baseboard of your living room). This speaker wire cable can be used for such installations. It's nice, heavy gauge (14) speaker wire and pulls well. If you plan an in-wall installation for your sound system, this is a great product.
