Kazanjian offers his second annual list of prospective investment winners. The former television news anchor now edits the monthly advisory
Wall Street Insider. He has selected 36 well-known experts to choose a top stock or mutual fund for the upcoming year. A one-or two-page description of the company (or fund) selected is provided, and Kazanjian includes the reasoning behind each pick. For each member of his selection panel, he also identifies the best and the worst investment each has made, provides a nugget of each one's investment advice, and summarizes each one's outlook for the market in 50 words or less. Obviously, these tips are no longer "inside information" once they are published, which defeats the purpose for some. But for investors looking to build long-term portfolios, some of the selections could prove worthy, and savvy readers can extrapolate other picks by analyzing the reasoning offered for each selection.
