Product Description

Our hand wrought iron pieces are made for us in the Lancaster County PA. Amish Community. With classic style and functional design these versatile pieces blend into most decorating schemes. This is solid iron--not wire. These pieces are finished in satin black and work well in any room. This is our new Electric wall sconce with a star top. It is 17 1/2 inches high and extends 7 1/4 inches from the wall. This takes a standard base bulb and has a three-way switch. The nice long cord is over 10 feet long. A 10 inch (or smaller) clip on shade will work nicely but is not included. This has a hole for mounting to your wall. Screws or wall anchors are not included.

I ordered the Amish Star Wall Lamp from Amazon. For the price (very inexpensive) it is really a nice lamp. The only thing was that it is pictured with a shade, and you need to really read the description to find out it doesn't come with the shade nor does the company sell the shade. But the lamp itself is great.

I needed to replace a wall lamp for the kitchen, and this fit the bill perfectly, = i like the simplicity, & it was exactly as described. Please remember, it does not come with a lampshade. I like that it can take 3-way bulbs. Good illumination.
Con: It would be better if it came with some hardware to stabilize the wrought iron bar either at the sides or at the bottom, because it shifts sideways on the wall whenever you touch it to turn it on.

I looked at antique wall lamps but they were out of my price range. This one blends well with antiques or rustic decor and is very well made. I added a simple linen shade to keep the understated look. At this price, it's a great deal.
