Be very careful if you buy this. I wanted to be able to charge my Shuffle when I was traveling without a computer and I bought both this and the Bargaincell car charger. I plugged the Shuffle into the wall charger at the hotel after using it for quite a while on the plane. When I went to unplug it, the Shuffle was very hot to the touch and it would no longer work - the sound was low and distorted. I turned the Shuffle on and let the battery run down completely and then recharged it via the Apple-supplied computer charger and it still would not work. I think that the charger fried my Shuffle! :(

Work with my Shuffle 2nd Gen perfectly. It is nice doesn't have to turn on a computer to charge my IPOD.

Fits into the IPod shuffle and then plugs into the wall, so you don't have to use your computer to recharge the shuffle. Convenient for travel, charging anywhere there is an electrical outlet. Reasonable price and shipping. A winner!
