So maybe I'm crazy, or completely inattentive, but I had been lusting after this item both on Amazon and at SeeJaneWork.com and never realized that it is NOT an actual chalkboard. It's just a chalkboard-surfaced sticky wall decal. Kinda makes the price seem a little less great, huh?

Alas, I still really loved the look, and it's actually a reusable decal that can go up/come down nicely, so we decided to keep it anyway. It's quite tricky to get it off the original backing with all the little holes intact, but once you do, it's lovely stuck up on a wall or door. The con, of course, is that there's nowhere to put chalk pieces or an eraser. Oh, and, yeah, that it's NOT A CHALKBOARD.

this product is exactly as shown in the picture. It sticks to the wall. Is easy to move if needed. Chalk stays on when applied and erases easily. Very cool product!

This is great for the kitchen area where you can easily view messages from others or write down grocery items needed. It is large so you can get plenty on it and wipes off clean. Put one in your pantry to keep track of items you use and need to replace. I have had ton's of compliments and wanting to know where I got it. I love it! ( and it's green with no paper waste)!
