The book on Wallace Neff, Master of Proportion,
By Mark Goldschmidt (Altadena, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Wallace Neff: Architect of California's Golden Age (California Architecture & Architects) (Hardcover)
A good look at the oeuvre of Wallace Neff, an architect who could combine in his houses a sense of profound tranquility, dynamism, and whimsy. He was truly a master of proportion. Sadly, as with all of the books published by Hennessey & Ingalls, it suffers from inferior printing & photo reproduction, but the content is rich, the writing good. I'd recommend it.
