5.0 out of 5 stars we love Wallet Pix
I am surprised by the other reviews here. My parents got two of these just before Christmas. One they kept and the other they gave to my grandmother (who is NOT comfortable with technology). Both devices have a bright clear display (my grandmother has poor eyesight and she has no trouble seeing the photos at all!). The screen is small, but so is the device and I don't...

1.0 out of 5 stars Crummy Display
My wife and I recieved this as a gift to display pictures of our son. The display size is one thing and is expected to be small but the screen brightness and image quality are very bad. I would not reccomend buying this product.

This is a piece of junk. It's easy to transfer pics from the computer to the unit. The problem is the viewing screen. when it's in the packaging the manufacture has a sticker covering the actual screen. The sticker that covers it simulates a larger screen than it actually is. (About 1" diameter.)You can hardly see it because it's so small. You're better off getting something with a bigger screen or lighting your money on fire for entertainment.

1.0 out of 5 stars Deceptive packaging & advertising, December 30, 2007
This review is from: Wallet Pix Digital Photo Album (Electronics)
Got one of these for Christmas. The actual screen size is about 2/3 the size of what they show on their packaging and TV ads. The screen is so small there is literally no detail in the pictures. Very disappointed.

i bought this for my dad to brag about his grandkids. it was extremely easy to use. i was pleasantly surprised. what was a BIG let down was the quality of the display. it could have been better for the price. it could also be sturdier and slimmer. he still enjoys it though.

Mine doesn't even connect to the computer.
The computer makes a brief dinging noise when I plug it in, but otherwise, nothing happens. When I turn it on, it says "no files" but duh....I can't connect it to load the pics. The manual says to go to My computer and f

Both devices have a bright clear display (my grandmother has poor eyesight and she has no trouble seeing the photos at all!). The screen is small, but so is the device and I don't think it appears any smaller in person than what it looks like here on Amazon. (I have not seen commercials on tv, so I can't say what it looks like there). It's easy to use, the image quality is fine, and at about $20 each it's a great value too! My husband and I are planning on getting some for ourselves, and a few more to give as gifts (that's why I came to Amazon looking for them), and I decided to write my own review after seeing the very negative reviews already posted here, since our experience has been so different.

1.0 out of 5 stars WORM VIRUS ON WALLET PIX!, July 31, 2008
By
This review is from: Wallet Pix Digital Photo Album (Electronics)
I purchased this product last week. When I connected it to my PC,
I received an error message that my system detected the Worm.win32.autorun.enn virus. One of the files installed on the Wallet Pix, Imgtask.exe is infected with the virus. I contacted Tech Support who told me they would escalate the problem and after a week I contacted them only to be told they dont know how to fix the problem. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I will be returning the product to the store!!
