A Great Comeback!!!, April 18, 2005
This review is from: The Wallflower 3: Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge (Wallflower: Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge) (Paperback)
For those of you who have had the opportunity to read the first two volumes of this series all know how the first volume was significantly more interesting than the second. In fact, the second one was a huge disappointment to me since this is such a funny overall series. Well, I didn't expect the story to be salvaged much in this third volume here, but man did it get saved! It's hilarious. I'd say it is as funny (if not funnier) as the first volume. Finally, Sunako is back to her usual self, and throughout the whole book it just revolves around one silly issue which drives her up the wall. I also ALWAYS enjoy her quarelling with Kyohei. It's so cute ^-^ I highly recommend this volume. If you don't want to buy every single volume that's released, then I say get this one or the third one (however, this is a direct continuation of the second volume, so if you don't READ the second volume, then you might be a little confused though there is a short summary of what happened in the previous volume for this particular book). This time around, it's funny, romantic and extremely silly.

Incredibly fun!, June 24, 2008
This review is from: The Wallflower 3: Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge (Wallflower: Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge) (Paperback)
This volume wraps up the hot spring plotline and manages to show the beginning of the boys' acceptance of Sunako. While the artwork that doesn't surround things the author likes tends to suffer, the storyline is always good.
This volume is a great example of what this series has going for it. The characters are interesting, the premise is new, and the series is willing to take a few semi-safe chances with a shoujo comedy.
I'd recommend this in a heartbeat.

Just so funny it hurts, March 13, 2008
This review is from: The Wallflower 3: Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge (Wallflower: Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge) (Paperback)
I must say I liked how the hot springs ended. I just love how Sunako is not a scared girl like most of the other girls in manga. She just gets scared of light or in other words anything thats pretty or colorful. Really she just likes the dark. So it is a nice change to see the star chick likes dark and scarey places and loves her skeletons more then her life. Strange yes, different yes, and So freakin funny OH YES YES.
NOW: A secret is revealed to Sunako that drives her inscane and really scarey. It was so funny and simply cute at the end and funny every page. There was a picture of the group together it was a gothic one, but I love stuff like that to so it was gorgeous. You get to see Yuki step up for once and be a man for a second. REALLY IT WAS NOT LONG THEN HE GOT SHOT DOWN, but I give him a A+ for doing his best. So now this gang boss wants Sunako for his own and Will Kyohei step up and claim her and save her from this crazy thug? Or will she save herself?
It really does have great art. I love how it's so different than other manga just cause you start to get tired of seeing the same old thing. This series itself is something I didn't think it would be anything special but I was wrong it took be by surprise. I fell in love with this series and now it is my number 1 favorite, I love Sensual Phrase, From Far Away, W Juliet, Mars, Snow Drop, Vampire Game, Ranma 1/2, Fushigi Yugi, and some other romantic comdey or fairy tale theme.
This is something to check out REALLY. Specially if you want to laugh and see some cute and herotic moments by Sunako and Kyohei. This series goes to 20 volumes. So I have to wait but I think it will be worth the wait and money to buy. Check it out. I think girls will love this series and guys just want to check it out for the funny stuff, well some of you guys anyways. Later smiles
