This book is well graphic designed but with less development "in a modern way", with not enough examples in traditional materials as wood as well as in others materials like steel, glass, concrete or plastics .....the only good and enough examples are the stones fences. I don't recomend you this book for a professional like an architect.

This is the only book I bought from Amazon, that I contemplated returning. I kept it because it has enough information worth the book price after return shipment charge. The cover image is the best image and project showcased in the book. I guess you have to have one of these once in a while buying off the internet.

Walls can limit your design, but for those with focus, that are simply a part of them. "Walls: Elements of Garden and Landscape Architecture" is an architecture and design guide that analyzes wall in the artistic pursuit of creating a garden or landscape that uses these barriers and limits to their fullest, instead of cursing them as hindrances. Full color photos throughout discuss the walls, breaking down how to use different types of materials, and coming with plenty of inspiration, "Walls" is a must for any designer who is looking for advice for their next project.
