This is probably Holland's best singer ever, in 2002 he was awarded the Edison(Dutch Grammy) for his whole career that took of in 1988 with the Doug Ashdown cover "Winter in America" that song made his first Album "Who Dares wins" gold and platinum after 3 more albums and many Hits He came up with the 1992 Greatest Hits Album "Sweet Hello's & Sad Goodbyes that made a Megastar out of him The album was awarded with 5 x Platinum which is unique for a Dutch Artist, after this al his albums would go at least platinum and one of the best ones is the 1994 "Walls Of Emotion" That went not only double platinum but was also awarded with the Edison for best album National. The cd takes off with the Leo Sayer cover "Thunder in my heart" also American song writer Diane Warren wrote the Ballad "here in my Heart" specialy for Rene the Album is a very good mix between Rock, pop and Romantic moments. The cd closes with the Beautiful "Why Goodbye"(also Diane Warren), if you like Michael Bolton you will like Rene Froger!
