3.0 out of 5 stars Shiver - 'Walpurgis' (Garden Of Delights), January 26, 2007
This review is from: Walpurgis (Audio CD)
Originally put out in 1969, this looks to be the bluesy-psych Swiss band's sole album. No classic, but a decent long-forgotten title that's been given the Garden Of Delights label treatment. Tunes I thought were okay include "Repent Walpurgis", "Hey,Mr.Holy Man" (nice organ playing), "No Time", their Animals cover "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" and the instrumental "The Peddle". As for the three bonus tracks, didn't like them as much as I did the actual lp. Personnel: Peter Robinson-vocals, Dany Ruhle-guitar,harminica&vocals, Mario Conza-bass,flute&vocals, Jelly Pastorini-organ&piano and Roger Maurer-drums. Check it out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth Every Penny, February 5, 2010

This review is from: Walpurgis (Audio CD)
I'm from the UK so my only option was to order this in from the U.S.

Well worth the cash, brilliant album, beautiful bluesy highs and lows. Production in some parts could be better, but this is probably largely because of the release date .

Buy it! You won't regret it!
