This was a great book! Probably a little slanted and oversimplified.
I read it many times, back when I was in 2nd grade in Brooklyn. Funny thing, my Long Island elementary school would NOT let me take it out until I was in 4th grade or higher, since it was for "older kids only." Wonder what I'd think if I read it today... |
