4.0 out of 5 stars great book - but heavy!, May 5, 2008
This review is from: Walt Disney World Guide to the Magic for Kids (Spiral-bound)
We just got back from a trip to Disney with our kids, ages 7, 5, and 1. We bought a copy of the book for both the 7 and 5 year old. My 7 year old especially enjoyed looking through the book and filling out the pages. They both got character autographs and the Epcot world showcase passport stamps. It is a very neat and detailed book - the only thing is that it is a pain to carry around an amusement park all day. It would not have been worth it if we didn't still have the stroller to stick the books in between character spottings. They need to make a folder with mini books that pull out for each park!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it (do I have to share with the kids?!), February 23, 2008
This review is from: Walt Disney World Guide to the Magic for Kids (Spiral-bound)
I just love this book! The pictures, the "circle your ratings" for each ride, the scavenger hunts, the passport spaces, the stickers...you name it! Some say it is too heavy for carrying, and while we won't carry it around on a busy Magic Kingdom Day, we will certainly use it in the park on a slow strolling Epcot World Showcase day! This is the perfect book for pre trip planning, plus it will be great for waits (waiting for parades, fill in what we've seen that day) and for activity in the stroller while mom gets a chance to browse the shops a bit too! Really the book is great as was the customer service from the author! WONDERFUL!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Your kids will love this book (and you will too), January 14, 2008
This review is from: Walt Disney World Guide to the Magic for Kids (Spiral-bound)
This guide for kids is a combination guide book-journal-autograph book and is filled with activities to help your children record every detail of their vacation. There are lots of stickers and beautiful color photographs of all the parks. I am very impressed with the detail that went into putting this book together. The journal pages are colorful and kids can record where they went that day, what they ate, their favorite experiences, the weather and much more. The autograph portion of the book also includes pages for Epcot that your kids can have "passport" stamped at each country. It's a great book; your kids will love it!

One last thing about Tim Foster's customer service. He really goes out of his way to make sure that you're happy with his products and will work with you until you're completely satisfied.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best WDW Guide for Kids, February 15, 2008
By
This review is from: Walt Disney World Guide to the Magic for Kids (Spiral-bound)
We were planning a surprise trip to WDW and wanted to get our kids a guidebook that was truly magical. We found it with the Guide to the Magic for Kids. The layout is exceptional and the pictures are fantastic. The guide is interactive and very child friendly with lots of places for the kids to record their own experiences. Beyond just allowing for autographs and passport stamps, there are games, scavenger hunts and places for children to rate individual attractions and shows. The journal feature is enjoyed by kids of all ages. It engages beginning readers with pictures of weather for children to circle and a wonderful array of stickers while also appealing to older children (up to age 12) by providing ample space for guided journaling with places for children to record souvenirs they got, attractions they visited, what and where they ate, favorite things they did, hidden mickeys and other surprises. This guide more than any other I have seen allows parents and children to record and remember the magic of Disney together. Tim Foster's Guide to the Magic for Kids should be the first thing you purchase and pack after you book your trip!

I had ordered the book for the grandkids..but, I think I might keep it! It is wonderful and can help you organize your time at Disneyworld..to get the most out of your visit.

It can be overwhelming in the park. This is a must-have guide and a way to keep track of what you have done and what you need to plan for the next day.

The kids can get character autographs that will be a permanent souvenir for them. It is also a journal of their daily activities and something that they can look back on and relive the fun in years to come.

Tim Foster has done the legwork for us and given us a very useful tool.

I highly recommend this guide. Don't leave home without it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book!, February 16, 2010
This review is from: Walt Disney World Guide to the Magic for Kids (Spiral-bound)
I got this book for our daughter to use on our next trip to Disney. She'll be 4 at the time of the trip, and I'm hoping she will enjoy looking back later and seeing what she did and what she thought about her days when she was little. The design of the book is super. My daughter loves the pictures, and the stickers for each attraction are a great touch. My only gripe with the book is that there is a bit information that's outdated. I know it says it's a new edition, and the new stuff is included, but there were a few things that I know were changed before our trip in October 2008, and they're still in the book. Aside from those few bits that need to be updated/corrected, it's a really cute keepsake.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT for children, February 14, 2009

We took our first family trip to Disney recently. After checking out several autograph books and several tour books for children and several Disney journals, we chose this book as the "All In One". We were not disappointed at all. The book contains a spot to record your entire vacation - food, weather, parks, characters, etc. Not only is this a great record keeping tool, but it makes for a fantastic souvenir once you return back home. This is the ONLY book your children will need to plan and record their Disney dream vacation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great take-along, August 8, 2011

This is a great book for kids to take with you while you tour Disney World. Lots of great information, some secret information too, available for every attraction. There are activities you can complete while waiting in line such as scavenger hunts and looking for Hidden Mickeys. It is also a good memory keeper as you can rate the attractions and list what you did each day. My 5 year-old loved this book!
