My son loves this farting dog. It is amusing because he farts two different sounds. He definately does what he suppose too!!

My son found this on vacation and was thrilled to have a Walter Plush that had such fabulous flatulence!

We bought 3 of them--2 as gag gifts- farts right on cue, juicy!!
The kids love it--and so do the adults!!

Walter is a lovable little farting dog. If you have a problem with fart sounds.....don't buy this toy. He is fun and goes with the series of books about Walter the Farting Dog. Kids like him and think farting is so funny.

This is a small-ish plush dog that emits two different fart sounds when squeezed--good for inducing extended laughter in anyone who can't help themselves. The likeness to Walter in the books (series: Walter the Farting Dog) is excellent. This is a great, fun gift, especially if you are a fan of Walter and his aromatic adventures!

I purchased this toy for my grandson. The first one that I bought didn't work. I was given a refund, and I purchased a second one from another vendor on eBay. Both were purchased "new". The second one worked, but only for about one month, and then it stopped working. There is no opening for changing batteries, and no way to get to the sound box to look for a problem without cutting the toy open. Since this happened with not just one of these toys, but TWO, it makes me wonder if there is some sort of defect with the toy.

As a librarian, teacher and parent of young children, I was very excited about this plush book character. Maybe a little taboo, a farting dog, but very funny to children. Sadly when Walter arrived, his "farting" mechanism did not work and when I contacted Hastings, I got no response. When I suggested to the children that we send it back to Santa's workshop to be repaired, they thought it was awful to suggest such a thing. They love it just the way that it is, but I didn't get what I paid for.

I got this in conjunction with some of the books for my 5 year old nephew for Chrismas. Needless to say a farting dog was a smash hit. Fun stuff!

I ordered this toy dog for my grandson because he is in 1st grade, loves the Walter books, and is really into 'bathroom humor". I was so glad it came today because he had to stay home from school with a fever this morning. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The body of the dog was poorly stuffed, the box that makes the noise was hard and slid around the inside of the dog, and with the poor stuffing it was very exposed. It felt like a wooden block inside a nearly empty sock. After years of experience repairing dog toys that have the squeeker chewed out, it was easy to open the seam and add more stuffing. But, on the way to our grandson's house the dog stopped farting. I should have gotten him a Webkinz.

Thought it would be bigger, but my grandson loved it, and it is a great companion with the Walter books.
