Old favourites and newly written numbers from Jon Walmsley (Jason Walton) and his wife Lisa Harrison combined with a Richard Thomas (John Boy) and a Ralph Waite(Daddy Walton) readings blend together in this toe tapping album performed not only by all "seven Walton kids" but many other cast members as well. Whether you are a Walton devotee or not you cannot help but find your head replaying one or other of the delightful family tunes such as Santa's Big Parade. A bunch of actors who really do sound like a professional group of singers. A stocking stuffer to suit any one.

I am 33 years old and grew up watching the Waltons. Since I am a big fan, I loved this cd. I also recommended the cd to my sister who loves the Waltons. After listening to it, she said, "I felt like I was one of them!" I also happen to like bluegrass and was thrilled that several of the songs fell into that category. My 4 year old boy loves listening to the readings "A Visit From St. Nicholas" and "Snowman Land". If you are one of us who secretly yearned to be a Walton kid, you'll love this cd.

I have had this CD for less than a week and have already listened to it several times. It was produced by Jon Walmsley (Jason on The Waltons) and it features nearly every member of the TV family. There are old Christmas favorites as well as original songs written, I assume, by Jon. Earl Hamner gives a short Christmas message, Richard Thomas reads Clement Clarke Moore's "Twas the Night Before Christmas", Michael Learned reads the Biblical account of Christmas from Luke 2, Ralph Waite tells a Christmas story in song to the Walton grandchildren, and much, much more! I highly recommend this CD to all fans of The Waltons.

You'll love this album, especially if you enjoyed the "Waltons" when it was on television. With the cast joining in, and Jason singing, it reminded me of some of the songs he wrote and sang on the show. A great Christmas present!

I am 27 years old, and our whole family has been a Walton fan for years, and we collect everything. We also have the Christmas record that was made in 1975 when the show was airing in the 70's. All the cast was young and grandpa was still with us. This is a great Christmas recording number 2! Every home need to have it. We need more family values like the Waltons. Grandma Walton(Ellen Corby)was a friend to me for 10 years, and I am sill sad at her passing back in the spring of 99. Great bluegrass and old fashioned mountain music and singing! If you like blue grass, you will enjoy this CD! My children also enjoy listening to the music and stories as well. What fun it is to sit around our fireplace, sipping hot cocoa and listening to this delightful music. 3 cheers for The Waltons Together Again!

HAVE ENJOYED THIS TAPE FOR OVER A YEAR AND PLAY IT ALL YEAR LONG. ESPECIALLY LIKE THE SONGS "FOLLOW THAT STAR" AND "GOODNIGHT". WOULD LIKE TO OBTAIN SHEET MUSIC TO THESE, IF POSSIBLE.

I would give this CD 10 stars if I could. This CD was great, very uplifting, and worth every cent I spent. I wanted to get up and dance when I heard this CD. The songs are great, Michael Learned reading the Biblical account of Jesus's birth was wonderful, as well as Richard Thomas reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.

You will enjoy this album, especially if you enjoyed the "Waltons" on television! The cast joins in and reminded me a lot of some of the songs that Jason wrote on the show and sang. A great Christmas gift!

If you are a fan of the 1970s TV series THE WALTONS,you will love tbis CD..I had a chance to interview Jon Walmsley concerning the album and it is definitely up my alley...as I grew up on the show...Musically speaking..the cuts that feature Jon are the best,but the recitations by Richard Thomas,Ralph Waite and Michael Learnerd are great as well...to sum it up...if you're a fan buy the album....but if you're not...don't!
