I purchased this pack having no prior experience with Irish whistles. I did a bit of research and wanted to buy one that was cheap, and yes, I thought the Guiness theme was cool. Hey they have good beer, so I figured that somehow they would have a nice whistle. But in all seriousness, I have enjoyed this product so far. The whistle is light and has a nice sound. It comes with a CD and a tune book that gives you a quick overview of music and some songs with the fingering under each note; which is helpful since the quick overview of music is not nearly enough. So if you are a beginner, such as I, you would be best off buying The Complete Irish Tin Whistle Tutor in addition to this product.

I have another older one and seen this one on a youtube vid and thought it was cute and got it. It's lighter than my old one but sounds just as good. The book is helpful but could use a couple more songs. As a novelty gift I loved the fact that it resembles a tall one lol.

This package contains a method with a lot of pieces (very good for learning), the Cd is a great help. The whistle is not very good. But The price gives a opportunity to be initialized to celtic music. Correct!
