I agree with the other reviewer about the price of pillowcases being outrageous. Here's what I did. I ordered a set of the same color twin sheets as these queens and will make a few sets of pillowcases from the twin sheets. They're on sale at Amazon for $9.99, and buy the fitted/flat and get the other free. I'll probably be able to get 8 or more pillowcases for $9.99.

I was hesitant because of some mixed reviews; but, decided with the price of buy the fitted get the flat free I couldn't go wrong. Out of the package they were beautiful (I have never referred to sheets as beautiful but these were) and I immediately washed them and no pilling like some of the other post. I feel it was a great deal with the buy 1 get 1 free.

Wow, I am so happy I got two sets of these sheets. (I got 2 colors: Fig & Scarlet). The scarlet was a beautiful red, with a gold kind of shimmer in the fabric. The fig is a deep rich dark brown, very nice.
Both sets came super-soft, and after a washing, even softer.

I am LOVING these sheets! Sleeping on such soft fabric is so luxurious! I came back to buy more, but all the other colors I wanted are sold out. Bummer!

Bought when this item was on sale buy the fitted get the flat free with it. Best money I have ever spent on a 300 thread count item. Highly reccommended to others. Comfortable and many different choices to chose from. We also bought the periwinkle set alond with the stone. We are a hugh fan for life now....

I bought these on a special sale at Amazon. It's a high quality cloth that feels fantastic. They feel smooth, almost like satin, yet they have a cottony comfort that just pulls you in.

They are cool to the touch, and never make you feel overly hot.

Despite the mixed reviews on these sheets we decided to try them out due to the great price. After a few washings they are still shiny and oh so soft! We "upgraded" to high thread count sheets a few years ago and have become very spoiled since. We were not disappointed at all in the quality of these sheets. They are every bit as luxurious as sets we've purchased costing much more. Check 'em out!

I love these sheets and pillowcases! They're really soft and smooth and ultra-comfortable. If I had thought it over, I might have gotten a higher thread count, but for the price there's no way you can get something like this anywhere else. I would definitely buy them again though!

I bought the 300 thread count sateen full sheets in periwinkle and it's the prettiest color. It's more purplish than in the picture. They are by far the softest sheets and I've had them for 2 years now. Washing doesn't seem to make mine pill as other people have stated. My only problem (and why they don't get 5 stars) is that they're not that deep. Wamsutta makes extra deep sheets but I haven't bought them...waiting for them to go on sale...

Quality is nice but the fitted sheets... forget 13 or 15 inch mattresses... the darn thing barely even fits 10 inches!

If you are looking for a cheap pillow case, and dont mind it being itchy and rough on your face, then this might just be for you! Otherwise look elsewhere

Personally I would not give this to someone I hated.
