1.0 out of 5 stars I've found better, April 22, 2006

This is a pretty nice blanket, but after a few washings it really thinned out in the middle and started getting holes. I stopped putting it in the dryer after a couple times because it lost so much "fuzz." (even on low heat). I also think it feels a little too "acrylic-y."
I have 2, and both performed about the same. I much-much-much prefer and LOVE the Amy Coe chenille blankets from Target. they may be a little more $$, but it's worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite blanket, April 7, 2005
This review is from: Wamsutta - Ecru Cable Baby Blanket - Chenille (Baby Product)
I have had this for two months. It is sooo soft and has been washed at least 10 times. I was it in cold on gentle and dry it on low. The blanket basically looks like I just received it. It is great to swaddle and wonderful as a cover-up for the carseat in the cold.
Seeing the other reviews I was reluctant to register for this blanket. I did anyway, and I would purchase another if anything ever happened to our Wamsutta.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's my daughter's favorite, September 3, 2006
This review is from: Wamsutta - Ecru Cable Baby Blanket - Chenille (Baby Product)
My 20 month old has had this blanket since she was born. She can't go anywhere without it. We are on blanket number 2. I like to switch them out to be able to wash them. They have both been equally worn out. I bought one for my 4 year old when she was born and the quality has defintately changed over the past 4 years. My older daughters blanket still seems to be in good shape. It's a little thin, but the baby's blanket is really thin. I like that if the baby covers her face while sleeping, she will not suffocate with this blanket.
