The jersey bedding from Wamsutta, with its super-soft and slightly stretchy feel, makes your bed as comfortable as a favorite t-shirt. Softer than crisply woven cotton and cooler than flannel, the bedding is also easy to care for. This set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two pillowcases, all sewn from 100 percent Egyptian cotton with double-needle stitching at the hems. The sheets lie well on the bed without clinginess, and the fitted sheet is fully elasticized for a stay-put fit. Comfortable on the skin from the first, Wamsutta jersey washes and dries in the home machine and never needs ironing. I can't say enough good things about these jersey sheets. (This is my fourth set of king-sized. I've worn out two sets over the past five years; I paid close to $100 for each of those sets at one of the big box linen stores. So, I bought a replacement set a month ago and decided, at this price, it would be criminal not to buy another one.) They are sooooooooooo soft and cozy. If you live in the south, they are an excellent substitute for flannel sheets which I have found to be far too warm. For those in colder climates, these are excellent for the in-between times when flannel is too heavy and regular woven sheets are too light. These sheets wear well; I do suggest you dry them on low heat for about an hour to avoid excess shrinkage. If you have an oversized mattress, you may want to reinforce the seams on the fitted bottom sheet. I like these so well, I bought a queen sized set for one guest room and two twin sets for the other.

These sheets are great quality for the price and very soft after a couple of washings. I have very sensitive skin and they were a little "scratchy" after the first wash so I was a little worried they would stay that way. After the second washing they were much softer, very comfortable to sleep on. If you've been wanting to try Jersey sheets, these are the ones for you.
