Brasilian bossa-nova magic. What a tonic! An absolute delight! Played it twice through straight away, and regularly since. Joao Donato's lively, jazzy piano is perfect for Wanda Sa's warm, lilting vocals. Ms Sa is a new discovery to me. Saw them as part of the 50 Years of Bossa Nova Festival Concert at London's Barbican in May 2008. Wanda-ful indeed! Muito obrigada, you guys. Liz

Wanda's okay -- goes a little flat sometimes -- not the greatest voice in the world either, but Joao Donato (GET HIS OTHER ALBUMS!!!!!) does mighty good stuff backing her.
