5.0 out of 5 stars The Hidden History of Montségur, February 15, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Wanderings of the Grail: The Cathars, the Search for the Grail and the Discovery of Egyptian Relics in the French Pyrenees (Paperback)
André Douzet is an energetic researcher who lives in the mysterious region (which I only visited last week!) His latest book succeeds in revealing further discoveries of a significant and puzzling nature. It is a compact and readable book that packs a punch. Because of its status as primary source material, and well reasoned, in contrast to many other rehash works it deserves 5 star rating -- not however indicating perfection. Important links to the work of Otto Rahn, Mr Lawrence (of Poussin Tomb fame) and Déodat Roché make this book essential reading for connoisseurs and addicts of The Mystery!

5.0 out of 5 stars An interesting read all the way through, October 14, 2009
This review is from: The Wanderings of the Grail: The Cathars, the Search for the Grail and the Discovery of Egyptian Relics in the French Pyrenees (Paperback)
The Holy Grail was searched for in medieval times, and believed to be a sacred relic of Christianity. "The Wanderings of the Grail: The Cathars, the Search for the Grail, and the Discovery of Egyptian Relics in the French Pyrenees" is a exploration of the idea that the Holy grail may have been holy to the Egyptian people as well, under the religion of the Cathars. This forgotten Cathar religion may have untold knowledge to the status of the grail, and author Andre Douzet pieces together what may be the answer to an ancient historical puzzle. "The Wanderings of the Grail" is an interesting read all the way through.
