This review is from: I Want to Be a Chef (Paperback)
This was an interesting & informative book, suitable for someone under 12 who is creative in the kitchen. It shows a good sampling of various careers in the food industry. I would like to have seen more info on training and eduaction for older kids who are really passionate about cooking and want to make the jump into a culinary career.

This book addresses the many aspects of being a chef. Great gift for inspiring chefs. The back of the book has a lot of great resources. I am sharing this book with my second grade class as we explore careers. My son is a chef and this book explains to kids the training and jobs that chefs do. The pictures were the first thing that caught my eye - big and very realistic. This is a career that is in demand now and the future. This book is a great introduction for middle age readers also as they look for jobs to explore.
