"I Want To Be In Love" is the first single from Melissa's newest CD, "Skin". It is a great song about being tired of being lonely, and not finding the right person to share your life with. Something everyone can relate to! It has a steady, kind of shuffle rhythm to it that is very infectious. Definately gets your toe's tapping, and your right foot pressing farther down on the accelerator! Following the the lead single, as usual with Melissa's singles, are three live versions. First up is "Similar Features". It was definately recorded many years ago, but sounds great as does her vocals. In the beginning of the song, someone in the crowd gets her laughing and she messes up the beginning by going off key! Next up is "Come To My Window". A great live version of a great song. Lastly is "You Can Sleep While I Drive". It's just Melissa and her guitar. What more do you need? Passionately sung and played, it really finishes the CD on a high note, and definately pleases the crowd. Even though this is her 14th CD single, and they all have between two and four live versions on every one except "Angels Would Fall", all of the live versions are all different. No repeat performances here. Definately worth the wait and the money.
