Vinyl LP pressing includes digital download. 2013 release from the Indie singer/songwriter. I Want o See Pulaski at Night is a beautiful, mostly instrumental seven song mini-album that is both poppy and hypnotic at the same time. The only vocals appear on the title track, with Andrew pleading for a departed one to "Come back to Chicago, City of Light." Bird builds five of the remaining tracks up from simple layered loops in the manner which we've all come to take for granted, but each song is really a small wonder of fragile beauty and joy. Lovely and trippy.

Listened to this atmospheric and kind of mesmerizing piece only twice but it was exactly what I was looking for.
How can you not like some Andrew Bird?
Amazing album. I can't get enough of it. The vinyl pressing is great - but it took me a moment to figure out that it's supposed to be played at 45 RPM, not 33. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Dan S.
Really enjoy the instrumental on this album. Pulaski at Night is an all around great piece of song writingPublished 14 months ago by Joel Synstelien
With the exception of the title track, there are few vocals on the album aside from his signature whistling. Enjoyable, if you like a slower paced album.Published 17 months ago by Nate McVaugh
