This new CD from the Mighty Clouds of Joy is a joyful album that is welcome in these times. The first track, "Hook Up", sets the tone of most of the album with punchy horns and swirling organ. "I Want to Thank You" and "Jesus Made a Way" are more jubilant songs of praise. The Mighty Clouds bring the tempo down on "God Can" and "He Didn't Bring Me This Far", which are beautiful in a traditional style. A few tracks like "Seeking the Fire" have contemporary R&B beats, keyboards, and backing vocals. The mix of traditional gospel and modern R&B sounds on this record keep the music interesting, and the lyrics are always uplifting. "Right Here Waiting", a duet with Dottie Peoples, and "He Didn't Bring Me This Far" are the most comforting songs to me, and will keep you going in trying times.

My latest cd purchase was The Mighty Clouds of Joy and I feel blessed to have heard of their talents. Their energy and spirit comes through their music with overwhelming power. I haven't taken the cd out of my radio, I'm mesmerized by their messages. If you are a fan of any type of spiritual music you should gives these guys a chance.

How many artist's we've seen come and go, the joy just keep's coming when these guy's record. And I for one, know of no other's that have been able to keep this level of musical integrity this long (think about it Mighty-Fans) GLORY BE to GOD! Would give it more *stars if I could. This has to be the best gospel album of the year by far! After recently purchasing the CD, as soon as I started listening to it I couldn't stop dancing. With so much energy going on the whole time this album is a MUST HAVE for any gospel fan. You just can't stop singing along!

A EXCELLENT COMBINATION OF TRADITIONAL GOSPEL COMBINED WITH A TOUCH OF THE NEW CONTEMPORARY GOSPEL. THE SOUND WAS OF GREAT QUALITY THAT REACHES DEEPLY TOWARD A LIBERATING GOSPEL. SOME FLASHES OF THE OLD "MIGHTY CLOUDS OF JOY" DURING THE DAYS OF ELMO FRANKLIN AND JOHNNY MARTIN. LEAD SINGER JOE LIGON CONTINUES TO DEMOSTRATE WHY HE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE "ALLTIME GREATEST" LEAD SINGER FOR QUARTETS. THIS CD SHOULD WAS NOT ONLY WELL DONE BUT MASTERFULLY MIXED. "GREAT JOB"

Every since they came to Muncie Indiana, I have been purchasing every CD of the Mighty Clouds of Joy. Every I listen to your CD I feel the annointing in you singing. I never felt like that with the other singer. The songs "God Can" with Dottie People, "He chose me" and "Never say" are the most powerful song that make you want to get up and shout for Jesus. Every Morning and evening time i feel blessed every time i listen to your ablum.
