The Leaders' Guide contains far more material than anyone could effectively use, but that is all to the good. We were able to pick and choose the questions that best fit our small group and the timeframe we had for our study. And the Participants' guide was useful as a take-home, where the participants could explore and dig more deeply on their own.

This is the best book you can read. I used this book for a book study and not only did the participants enjoy it, so did I. this is a must read!!

The book was challenging. The spiritual challenge that is presented
is one that clear and motivational. If you are looking to be challenged
to act in faith this book may be the catalyst that God will use.

This book relates to what it means to truly have the kind of faith that Peter had when he walked on water. It is a good lesson to learn, but this book is so repetitive that I found it tiresome. Yes, we are not to let our fears hinder us from taking chances, but there was so little of God's Word in this book that I feel it is quite 'light' in it's theology.

It was well put together, and it was very helpful in guiding us through the bible study itself. It was easy to understand. I would highly recommend this book and this study. It helped us to open up in discussion at great length.

This is one of the BEST written Leaders Guide - even the most in experienced facilitator can use this guide and lead a group with a GREAT study.

Six months later my group is saying - if you don't get out of the boat....

I really enjoyed reading the book. This is a little weak for me. But I have also heard people talk very highly of it.
The DVD was super weak and seemed like it was rehearsed (ok it didnt seem I think they even had the laugh sign they would wave for the people).
