Too Slim is a poor man's Stevie Ray Vaughn. The same drive and energy burst forth on these cuts. Too Slim moves from one song to the next with barely a pause, just like his live performances. I often play this album on long road trips and find myself "there" before I know it. Especialy strong guitar work on "Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired" make it one of my favorites. Too Slim can be a bit country at times, but always returns to the strong Blues he is best at.
