Brianna McGraw ventures out West to find and rescue her brother from bandits who will sell him illegally to the highest bidder. Separated after they were orphaned a few years ago, Brianna has worked hard as a librarian to save money for the trip. But when she arrives, she realizes she has to somehow come up with a thousand dollars to buy him back.

She then sees a wanted poster with a sufficient reward and decides to become a bounty hunter, accomplishing two good deeds at once--bringing a criminal to justice and saving her brother.

Trey Morgan's renegade days are long over. He is at home on his ranch, tending to his cattle, when Brianna appears and arrests him. He is more amused than concerned, wondering how she thinks she's going to drag him 900 miles through the mountains.

To his surprise, Brianna proves over and over again that she is intelligent and strong enough to make the long and grueling trip. While he quietly observes his beautiful captor, his discomfort grows when she begins to win more and more of his respect and admiration.

Soon, the threat his beautiful captor holds over him is not so much in the pistol she wields, but the lasso she has firmly fastened over his heart.

About the Author

Nancy J. Parra believes that a good story has the power to change the world.

Nancy holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas, but turned to writing fiction when she discovered it was more fun to interview the people in her head. She lives in the Midwest with her wonderful husband, her two almost perfect children, and a mutt named George Bernard, who grew to unexpected proportions.

More About the Author

Nancy J. Parra's love of story started early. Enthralled with Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books,she tried to talk her 5th grade best friend into writing a pioneer book with her. When that didn't work out, she wrote stories on her own, but soon discovered her short stories were growing longer and longer. She wrote her first full length novel before she was 21. In an attempt to be practical, she got a BS in Journalism, but discovered it was more fun to interview the people in her head and returned to writing novels on the side. Nancy sold her first novel in 2002, and is always writing something new.
With an MA in Writing Popular Fiction, Ms. Parra has written articles on writing, and has given workshops on writing techniques to various library and writers groups. Bri captured Trey Morgan and with the ingenuity of a smart, determined and desperate woman set about bringing him to justice. For his outlaw body she could get the bounty of one thousand dollars, enough to buy back her orphaned brother out of bondage. But she didn't plan on losing her heart to the renegade. Trey could have escaped at any time, but his curiousity was piqued. Why would a mere slip of a woman need the money? And why did his heart do double flip-flops every time he looked at her? Pick up this delightful book and take a nine hundred mile journey with Bri and Trey; finding out the truth, getting to know them, and sighing when it ends. You'll love it. I did.

Raves to Nancy J. Parra's second offering in her series A Morgan Brothers Romance Series - A WANTED MAN. I must tell you - I thought that Saving Samantha was great. This one is GREAT! This book is a keeper. One that you will want to keep on your shelf and read over and over again. You can't help but fall in love with Brianna and Trey, and the boys that she sets out to help in the beginning. This was a most tender moving love story from the beginning of her capture of Trey to the end. I loved the way that Brianna was a strong and determined woman. The way that Trey slowly falls for her and the admiration they both have for each other is so touching. The soft tension between the two makes you want to finish the book as soon as you begin it. I loved the part about the shave and the bath. Not to mention all the times he was trying to guess her name. The part with Trey and the boys was superb. This is a ten stars book, two thumbs up. You will love this book! A Wanted Man and Saving Samantha will delight every reader. Two absolute great books by Ms. Parra. I loved the way she gave Trey Morgan a heart of gold. I can hardly wait to see who will capture Taggart's heart.

Brianna McGraw is one impressive heroine. Strong. Courageous. Invincible--except when it comes to Trey Morgan. This tough, tender story set in the Old West is pure pleasure to read. Nancy Parra gives us an old fashioned tale of endurance, committment, incredible sacrifice and love. Pick up a copy of A WANTED MAN, and spend a few hours in the rugged West with Brianna and Trey. You'll be glad you met them and joined them on their journey.
